DONOR RELATIONS
This position will take the lead our relationship with NFG and the donor database. This position will lead the 3-person team to ensure that we take full advantage of the software (database management, email blasts capabilities, newsletters, donation requests, etc) and recruiting individual board members for one-on-one contact with potential donors.
WRITER
This position will take the lead in the writing funding proposals throughout the year and coordinating their submission. The writer will also provide text for the Annual Report and other reports. (We can contract for graphic design if the Writer does not have that skill).
SECRETARY
This position will draft the agenda for the Chair and do an email mail-out of the agenda and prior month’s minutes two weeks prior to the Board meeting. This position will take minutes at board meetings and distribute a draft to the board within a week for edits. The position will also maintain all NVMHF records including past minutes, by-laws, and studies completed, in both hard copy and in the NVMHF drop box.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
This position will identify opportunities in the community throughout the year for NVMHF to raise visibility and make the case for donations to support people in mental health recovery. The position will recruit participants from the board for participation in these events and provide them with whatever materials needed. This position will document each event (who, what where when, why, how) and assess whether it was an effective use of Board effort.
DIGITAL MARKeter
This position will take lead in promoting NVMHF through Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social media outlets, and coordinating postings on our webpage with the board member who has led for the webpage. The person recruited should already be fully proficient in use of these media.
EVALUATION
This position will take the lead on implementing a system of evaluation for micro-grants, including follow-up if the information is not forthcoming, and reports this information at board meetings and for the annual report. This position will also become the internal expert on evaluation (NVMHF has an external consultant) and uses this knowledge to enhance the effectiveness of the board.
EXTERNAL COMPLIANCE OFFICER
